The energy of Milan Design Week has only just settled, yet April 24 remains one of those moments worth recounting unhurriedly. For ELKA, it was the occasion to take part in Arredo Outdoor & Yacht Design MDW 2026, the event hosted by LABOUTIQUE Home Concept together with DDN — an evening built around a precise idea: the dialogue between outdoor furnishing and yacht design.

Milano Design Week returns to transform the city into a vast platform of ideas, materials, and visions. And once again, it is in the dialogue between disciplines that the most compelling insights emerge: the one between outdoor furniture and yacht design is perhaps the most evocative, because it places at its centre the way we inhabit threshold spaces — terraces, decks, jetties, environments that are never entirely indoor nor entirely open.

Five days along Flagler Drive, with the Intracoastal Waterway as a backdrop and over a thousand boats on the water: the Palm Beach International Boat Show is one of the most important events in the global boating industry. This year, ELKA was there.

The countdown has begun: from March 4 to 6, 2026, Milan will become the international capital of marine technology, and ELKA is proud to confirm its participation as an exhibitor at the first edition of SEAQUIP.

Living by the sea means embracing open spaces, sun, and wind, but designing for marine environments demands materials that can truly withstand the elements.

The DO.2017A outdoor shower embodies Elka Design’s response to this challenge, combining minimalist aesthetics with advanced material engineering to create a refined and durable outdoor experience.

In luxury nautical interior design, balance is created through contrast. Warm materials such as wood and textiles reach their full expression when paired with elements that bring light, precision, and modernity.

The Model 43130 washbasin mixer embodies this philosophy as a refined technical point of light, enhancing the entire space.

In luxury kitchens and the most exclusive yacht interiors, the faucet is often more than an accessory—it becomes the focal point of the entire island. The challenge for architects and designers is to preserve clean lines without compromising functionality.

Our Model 2230 was created to meet this absolute aesthetic requirement.

2025 was an important year for ELKA.

From major international stages in Dubai, Palm Beach, Cannes and Tampa, to METSTRADE in Amsterdam, we brought the excellence of Italian design to the heart of yachting, cruise and hospitality.

A year shaped by iconic yachts, long-standing collaborations, new collections and an important technological milestone: our worldwide Titanium patent, unveiled alongside the new Gōkana collection.

The IBEX Show 2025 in Tampa, Florida, has just come to an end—and for ELKA, it was an extraordinary experience.
