Screw caps close the base when the column is removed.

What materials are Elka marine deck showers made from?

Elka marine deck showers are built for permanent exposure to salt, sun and UV. Bodies and fittings use marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, and the shower poles are offered in carbon fibre (7080GAPC, 7085P_C, SP_60C, SP_70_LUX), titanium (7080GAPTI) and aluminium (SP_30AL_DW), with gloss and matte finishes.

Can a deck shower be removed and stowed away?

Yes. The Elka Series 70 columns are removable, and models such as 7080GAP, 7080GAPC and 7080GAPTI are also collapsible, so the column folds down before stowage.
